Formulaic

The Formula by ex-physicist Tom Beddard is composed of two astounding sequences of Mandelbulbs (3D versions of Mandelbrot fractals) and a soundtrack by The Formula (Laurie Peters).  Tom provides source code for all his experiments whenever possible on subblue.com.  Check it out.  The site is full of info, and there are amazing images to see in Tom's Gallery of Mathematical and Generative Art.
